CIS Center Russia held a workshop «SDS registration. Classification and labelling of chemicals».
Participants took part in the three-day discussion about providing modern chemical safety systems in Russia and abroad.
Seven domestic enterprises took part in the workshop, such as: Corporation «SiburKhimprom», Corporation «Rosenergoatom Concern», «SMOLENSKAYA NUCLEAR STATION», LLC «Skoropuskovskiy Sintez», Corporation «VORONEZHSINTEZKAUCHUK», PJSC «Uralchimplast», Corporation «VNII NP», LLC «Plastik-Stroymarket».
The organization's experts got acquainted with information about Russian SDS registration, its structure, principles of compilation and procedure of registration and also with the main elements of the UN recommendations for «Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS)».
Experts of CIS Center Russia made reports on: chemicals hazard classification, national and international databases on chemicals, features of labelling compilation.
At the workshop last day the CIS Center experts carried out a practical session for SDS Compilation and rated received knowledge according to the results of session.
Every year CIS Center Russia provides two sessions of workshops: in spring and autumn. . The nearest workshop is scheduled at the first half of 2018 year.
