March 1, 2018 in Moscow, entitled a conference «Dangerous Goods: New Requirements for Transportation».
The organizers of the event were Information & Analytical Agency PortNews (IAA PortNews).
The conference was attended by: the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport, the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, the Transport Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, the Transport Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation; captains of seaports, branch universities, stevedore companies, carriers of dangerous goods, recognized organizations in the maritime safety field, freight forwarders, experts in the safe goods transportation.

Legislative regulation in the field of dangerous goods transportation. Activities of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) in the field of safety of cargo transportation
RS is the competent authority for dangerous goods packaging, containers and liquefiable goods. 
Experience in the transport of dangerous goods on dry-cargo ship, tankers and ferries.
Features of regulation and problems in the handling of tank containers.
Transportation of diesel fuel in flexitanks by sea. Multimodal declarations.
Features of transportation of dangerous goods in containers.
The practice of applying innovative container technologies for bulk cargoes, like in the port of Bronka.

Vinogradova E.N., head of Information Analytics on CIS Center Chemical Safety Department made a presentation on the topic: «Russian SDS Register, requirements, norms, regulatory features». The presentation highlighted the main activities of the Chemical Safety Department, including in the field of the draft Annex «A» to section 14 of the Russian SDS. The Annex is specifying and presenting in more extended form information on the dangerous goods transportation.
