Development of safety data sheets (SDS) is carried out in accordance with the national standards of the country / region. For example, if a product is supplied to the EU, SDS must be developed in accordance with REACH, CLP and 453/2010. China, Japan, USA, Australia, Brazil, Turkey, etc. have their own legislation (and related standards / regulations), therefore each country / region requires its own safety data sheet.
It is important to remember that unlike Russian SDS, safety data sheets for export operations don’t have to be registered! The SDS itself has to be updated if new information of the hazards of the chemical product is available, or if the legislation is changed.
